Sam is Chief Executive of Student Volunteer Army and is most well-known for founding the SVA and turning the student movement into an internationally recognised model of community engagement.Each year the SVA has over  50,000 people across New Zealand. Sam is a member of Westpac Bank Sustainability Panel,Prince’s Trust New Zealand and an Adjunct Fellow in the School of Education and Leadership at the University of Canterbury.
